When clients use my copying services for historical documents, I sometimes email a single image, but if there are multiple images I use Dropbox. When document images are ready, I email you a link to my Dropbox. The 'download' button lets you choose (1) 'Download' to your device (you can do this without a Dropbox account), or (2) 'Save to Dropbox' (if you have a free Dropbox account). Many people prefer the latter because you'll then have a backup copy.
A free Dropbox account provides a secure offsite backup for items that would be expensive or impossible to replace, and it's a great way to share documents or photos with relatives or friends. With Dropbox you can synchronise files between your computer, tablet, smartphone and the Internet. You can also choose which files you share with whom. To create a free Dropbox account:
