Judy Webster's Family Tree
  • Many Yorkshire families (especially North Yorkshire, but some in East and West Yorkshire).

  • Some Yorkshire families moved to County Durham and still live around Middlesbrough / Stockton-on-Tees.

  • Some of my Yorkshire / Durham families came to Australia, and at least one went to Canada.

  • Many families in Middlesex and Surrey (now Greater London). Some came to Australia.

  • Somerset and Wiltshire families (especially around Frome, Bath, Shepton Mallet and Warminster). Some came to Australia.

  • Various lines in other areas including Bedfordshire, Kent, Lancashire and North Wales.

  • Known Scottish lines were in Argyll, especially Mull and Tiree, and Lanarkshire. Another line may have been in Aberdeen. Some members of my Scottish families probably went to Canada.

  • One known Irish ancestor (maybe a soldier's daughter) supposedly born Fermanagh 1820s-1830s. That line is a mystery!

  • My Mum's ancestors were from Germany/Poland and West Prussia. Some families emigrated to Queensland, others to America.

  • I have detailed source references (not always shown on my Website) and I am happy to exchange information. These sites include my contact details:

    1. (A corrected and vastly expanded tree will be online soon. Until then, use this version at your own risk.) Family tree for my British and Irish ancestors and their descendants in Britain, Australia, Canada etc.

    2. (A corrected and vastly expanded tree will be online soon. Until then, use this version at your own risk.) Family tree for my German, Polish and Prussian ancestors and their descendants in Australia.

    3. Main surnames in my family tree, with names, dates, places and brief details for a few lines.

  • I've done DNA tests for genealogy through AncestryDNA and Living DNA and FamilyTreeDNA. I've also uploaded my raw data to Gedmatch and MyHeritageDNA.
