Photographs for Family History
- Photos and sketches of people. I have discovered (in archives and libraries) several series of original records that include photographs or sketches of people. Those photos/sketches are accompanied by background or biographical details that are superb for family history.
- Index to historical photographs (portraits) in some published sources. (In progress)
- My public photographs on Flickr include Australian churches and other photos that may interest family historians. I intend to add more photos of headstones.
- If I don't have a photo of an ancestor, I try to get a digital image of his/her signature. There are signatures in some of the historical records that I've indexed.
- Photos of Yorkshire churches.
- Photos of historic buildings in Maryborough (Queensland).
- Travel photos (the current selection features Ireland).
